From a diameter of 1200mm we speak of XL Ring Lights, so our XL ring lights are available as standard up to a diameter of 2400mm. Naturally, customization is possible and we can supply the XL rings in any desired diameter. We can produce our XL LED rings with a diameter of up to 8 meters. These are then produced and delivered in segments, these segments can easily be linked on location to form 1 large LED ring.
Own production
Our Ring of Light NEXUS rings are produced entirely in-house, the production process is as follows:
Rolling/bending & welding of the aluminum profiles
Firstly, the aluminum profiles for the inside and outside of the ring lamps are produced and rolled to exactly the desired diameter. After rolling, the profiles must be welded, the welding of aluminum is done using TIG welding. After welding, the weld seam is sanded and the aluminum is degreased and prepared for the paint shop
After the profile for the rings has been rolled and prepared for further processing in the paint shop, the top and bottom of the rings are milled. By using a CNC milling machine (computer controlled) we can accurately mill the top and bottom of the rings to the 100th mm.
The top of the rings is milled from lightweight composite aluminum, this material ensures good heat dissipation from the LED that will be installed later. The top of the NEXUS ring lamps should be seen as the base of the fixture. The LED will soon be placed on this and the steel cables will be mounted on it.
The underside of the NEXUS Ring of Light is made of high-quality acrylic, equipped with an LED diffuser. This material ensures maximum light transmission (78%) and therefore minimal loss of efficiency of the LED. This special acrylic, in combination with our LED modules, ensures that the underside of the ring lamps is perfectly illuminated.
The next step in the production process is mounting the LED modules, connecting the electricity, installing the steel cables and of course testing the fixture.
Firstly, the LED modules are attached to the aluminum top panel with pop rivets and connected according to CE standards. After this, the adjustable steel cables are attached to the top panel, the steel cables are provided with infinitely height-adjustable ceiling holders.
The MEANWELL LED driver is mounted in the ceiling rose or supplied separately so that the customer can place it above the ceiling.

Meanwhile, the aluminum profiles that are placed on the inside and outside of the LED rings are sprayed or provided with a different finish. Our aluminum LED rings can be sprayed in a RAL color of your choice, or provided with one of the special finishes such as gold leaf or copper leaf. See also the color samples below.
After spraying the fixtures, the rings are assembled, the top plate with the LED lighting is mounted on the aluminum profiles, then the acrylic diffuser (bottom) is placed. After testing once more to ensure that everything works and is mounted correctly, the rings are packed and prepared for shipping.
