Because we produce virtually all parts for the Ring of Light lamps in-house, we are very flexible in terms of customer wishes. We can produce the ring pendant lamps for horizontal or vertical mounting, suspended from the ceiling, or mounted directly against the ceiling as a surface mounted lamp, even mounting as a wall fixture is possible. The client or architect can also provide the dimensions of the ring fixtures, we can produce these LED circles according to client specifications
During the production of our ring lamps we use different materials, for example we usually use acrylic for the diffuser (the bottom of the lamp). This acrylic has been specially developed for our LED rings and ensures a minimal loss of efficiency with a light transmission of almost 80%. In combination with our high-quality LED modules produced in the Netherlands, a 100% even illumination of the underside is created. Not only very beautiful, but also very pleasant and peaceful to look at. In addition to mood lighting, it can also be used perfectly as functional basic lighting.
The top of the LED ring lamps are milled from lightweight aluminum composite, the LEDs and the suspension system are mounted on this top. This aluminum composite material is lightweight, so the lamp can be mounted on any ceiling. This material is also completely B1 fire retardant and ensures good heat dissipation from the LED.
La Linia Lighting has developed an LED module especially for the LED ring lamps. The principles during development were:

After designing, testing, modifying and retesting various LED modules, we have put the LED module as shown below into production. This is used for our Ring of Light IQ and Ring of Light NEXUS lamps.

Lifespan: The printed circuit board of the LED is made of solid aluminum, which keeps the LEDs very cool. The LEDs are also controlled with a low current, which limits heat development and greatly extends their lifespan.
